Dog Banquets are Darn Boring!
Not this year! We have good food and
great fun planned for the 2005 NASS Banquet.
The Banquet is Saturday night and dinner is sit-down style with a
choice of four entrees. Located in the Grand
Ballroom of the Radisson Hotel, there will be a cash bar open at 7:30
p.m., with dinner served at 8:30 p.m.

Two very special presentations will
be made during the banquet: The Danny Martinez Sportsmanship Award,
and The Total Dog Award for Jaeger v. Silbersee, upon his retirement.
The Banquet is also the scene for two
special raffles!
We have two limited edition bronze
German Shepherd Dog sculptures to offer. One is a life-size head
study, the other is a running dog wall sculpture. One ticket is $5, 3
for $10, 5 for $15, and 7 for $20. Buy a bunch, and maybe you will be
the lucky one to lovingly lug these beauties home!
And then we will draw for the lucky
winner of the 50/50 raffle! For those of you unfamiliar with this
club fund-raising tactic, raffle tickets are sold for $1.00 each. One
lucky person's number is drawn. That person takes home half of the
raffle "pot", the other half supports the local club.
For those with bottomless energy,
there is a DJ for your dancing pleasure.
