(1) For dogs less than 12 months old and where AKC registration or any foreign registration is still pending you must submit a copy of both parents pedigree or a copy of the litter registration

(2) For dogs born before 1/1/2005 either a 3 or 4-generation AKC pedigree with tattoo notation is required.  If the dog is less than 12 months old they must be tattooed but it does not need to be certified on the pedigree.

     For dogs born in the USA after 1/1/2005 a 4-generation AKC pedigree with tattoo notation is required.  If the dog is less than 12 months old they must be tattooed but it does not need to be certified on the pedigree.

(3) Only necessary if dog already has achieved an approved title in the 12-18 or 18-24 class, mandatory for Working and Veteran class

(4) All dogs over the age of 3½ years must have a current breed survey to qualify for a V show rating
