4-6 Month - Females |
|
This is an impressive class based on the quantity as well as quality of
the 19 dogs represented here and all participants can only be described
as very good. Therefore all 19 dogs will receive the rating of 'Very
Promising’. Overall the class displays a very good type and expression
along with a remarkable body and bone structure and very good pigment.

6-9 Month - Males |
|
We would like to introduce the class of 6-9 month males, presented were
14 dogs, due to the dogs still being in the developmental phase, due to
this one can only judge today’s performance and not predict the future
for each of them. Please keep in mind, at this stage the dogs can change
very much within a few weeks. 13 of the dogs will receive the rating of
‘Very Promising’ and the last one will receive ‘Promising’, due to an
overbite, there is a possibility that this may change in the future,
however, it may be unlikely. |

6-9 Month - Females |
|
This is an impressive quality of dogs and a rather large class. All dogs
are anatomically very well structured, all the way from the first to the
last dog. The difference in placing would be due to firmness and
especially due to loose and missing firmness of the pastern. You will
notice that we have a very good top group, especially the first 10-15
dogs, all 29 dogs presented here in the ring will receive the rating of
‘Very Promising’. However, due to limitations in time, I will only
comment on the first 10 dogs. |

9-12 Month - Females |
|
A very good 9-12 month female class. Overall even far into the middle
field, very impressive anatomically correct structured females. However,
something that first caught my eye is that several of these females have
an excessive rear angulation, which in return makes the movements seem
unstable; this is of course something that I do have to take into
consideration when placing the females. We do have a working dog and
such has to move next to person correctly in the front as well as in the
back. We have 28 females in this ring, all with the exception of the
last three will get the rating ‘Very Promising’ and the last three will
receive the rating ‘Promising’. I will give further comments on the
first 10 dogs. |

12-18 Month - Males |
|
We have 22 dogs, the first 19 will receive the rating of ‘Very Good’, we
do have a very promising top group, also a still good middle field. Here
too, one has to say that all the dogs are still in a developmental
phase, they are still young and especially the dogs in the middle field
are still limited because of the lack of dryness and firmness. |

18-24 Month - Males |
|
This group has a very good top section, we have a total of 16 dogs, the
first 14 dogs will receive the rating of ‘Very Good’ and the last two
will receive ‘Good’. I will critique the first 5 dogs, in the mid field
we had some limitations due to a lack of angulation, firmness and
dryness, for some of them it is due to their developmental stage. |

18-24 Month - Females |
|
A very impressive class, all females are very typey and anatomically
very good proportioned, all dogs shown here today will receive the
rating of ‘Very Good’, in the end field we do have a few females that
are on the upper limit in height and lack some firmness and this is why
they could not be placed further in the front. |

| Adult - Females
|
|
Seven dogs were registered and 7 dogs were shown, all females will
receive the highest rating for this class of ‘Very Good’, we do have
some older females in this class and we have to take into consideration
that 2 or 3 years ago these dogs were in much better condition and
shape. Based on their body structure all deserve the highest rating that
can be given for this class. |

Working Class - Males |
|
This class was represented by 37 dogs, eight of these dogs will receive
the rating of ‘Auslese’ (Excellent Select), 25 dogs will receive a
‘Excellent’ and 4 dogs will receive the ‘Very Good’ rating. I will only
critique the ‘Auslese’ dogs, however, I would like to mention that all
males with the rating of ‘Excellent’ are very good dogs, that should
have a very promising future. |

Working Class - Females |
|
I was very impressed by the quality of the dogs shown to me today. This
is an expressive group of dogs, equivalent of a Landesgruppenzuchtschau
in Germany. Shown were 35 females, all of the females, with the
exception of the last dog will receive the rating ‘Excellent’, the first
8 dogs will receive the rating of ‘Excellent Select’ (Auslese). |

Veteran Class - Males |
|
We had 4 dogs registered, 3 dogs were shown. One can notice, that even
though the dogs are older, they are all still in a very good condition
and to just start talking about some of the accomplishments these dogs
had would be too time-consuming. |
